Scott Browning, M.D., The Colon & Rectal Clinic, has been named Providence Milwaukie Hospital medical staff president for 2008-2010. Dr. Browning, board certified in colon and rectal surgery, received his specialty training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and has been in practice for more than 10 years. In 2007, he piloted the direct access colonoscopy clinic at Providence Milwaukie; the clinic now serves more than 30 patients a month.
